Accelerator Fund

About EFF’s Accelerator Fund

Launched in 2021, EFF’s Accelerator Fund offers long-term, low-cost facility financing to early-phase and independent charter schools operators that demonstrate tremendous potential to positively impact the students and families they serve. This first-of-its-kind offering is designed to accelerate schools’ pathways to long-term financial sustainability and academic success.

Loans typically save schools over $150,000 per year and support numerous additional quality public seats for under-resourced communities.

EFF Accelerator Fund “Impact Priorities” include:

  • Schools run by leaders of color
  • Schools that operate in historically underserved communities
  • Schools that utilize alternative school models

"The thorough due diligence process allowed EFF to really get to know us; therefore, I view them as a true financial partner. This was our first facilities acquisition and EFF took me step by step through the process making sure that any questions I had along the way were answered."
